We have a great team to support your dental journey, here is a bit about our dentists.

Dr Joanne Wansa

Dr Joanne Wansa aka Dr Jo is the Principal Dentist at Dental on Evaline.

Dr Jo started working in Campsie in January 2011 and took over the practice ownership role in mid 2014. She is as local as they come; her birth certificate says CAMPSIE. Dr Jo grew up in Campsie and attended St Charbel’s College in Punchbowl. She truly is local!

Dr Jo graduated from the University of Sydney in 2007 with Bachelor of Dentistry and a Bachelor of Medical Science in 2003. Upon graduating she relocated to the ACT and worked there for 3 years.

She is a general dentist with a particular interest in Full Mouth Rehab, Children’s Dentistry, Sports Dentistry and Early Intervention Orthodontics.  She has undertaken extra study in these fields and loves sharing her knowledge with her patients and her community.

Dr Jo has a passion for helping and volunteering. She believes in the power of a smile. Over the past decade she has been volunteering both on an international and local level to help those less fortunate. She also supports local junior sporting teams, local schools, charity organisations and youth groups. Have a look at her adventures and trips in our community blog area.

Dr Jo is a member of ADA and alumni of the University of Sydney. She is fluent in both Arabic and English.

It’s pretty obvious that Dr Jo loves her footy especially her beloved Bulldogs. She also enjoys travelling and spending time doing arts and crafts with her niblings – nieces and nephews.

Dr Khaleoud Mohamad

Dr Khaleoud is both a Dentist and an Oral Health Therapist. She graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2013 with a Bachelor of Oral Health and subsequently in 2020 from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Dentistry and Masters of Dentistry. She is also a current clinical supervisor at the University of Sydney.

Dr Khaleoud is a member of the ADA as well as an affiliate member of RACDS. She enjoys working with students and sharing her knowledge. And has an interest in Pediatric Dentistry and Restorative Cosmetic Dentistry.

Dr Khaleoud is a mother to two young children. During her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her children and family. She enjoys cooking traditional Lebanese food and enjoys winding down at cafes or a walk by the beach. She is fluent in both Arabic and English.
